Our Story

Welcome to Piper Rose Bandanas! If you're on this page, you may be wondering about how we came to be so keep on reading if you're interested! 

It all started in May 2019 when we rescued an adorable black lab from Lucky Lab Rescue in Texas. We named her Piper Rose. We didn't know it at the time, but this lovely girl would be the support we needed come 2020 when the world went into lockdown. I never thought of labs as being "big" dogs but when I went to the pet store to find her bandanas, I realized nothing really fit her right. They were either way too small or way too big! The funny thing about Piper is that she LOVES to wear bandanas so, in summer of 2020, I decided to make her perfect bandana size with fabric I liked from the fabric store. I had no idea what I was doing but 6 bandanas later, I realized how much fun I had with the process! Picking out the fabric, sewing them, and finally seeing just how cute Piper looked in my creations, made everything worth it! 

Fast foward to spring 2021, I decided Piper deserved some new bandanas to add to her collection. While repeating the process of bandana making, I was reminded just how much I loved creating something with my hands. I had just started a Master's program Fall 2020 and with the current Pandemic, I was really searching for a new hobby. Thus passion fueled my idea to start Piper Rose Bandanas, named after the muse herself, so that other pups and paw-rents could enjoy my creations too! 

Now, after a few months of production and learning as much as I could about graphic design, managing a website, social media branding, and a whole lot more, I am happy to introduce you to Piper Rose Bandanas, launching June 1st, 2021.
